How Nova Buddy AI collects, uses, and protects your personal information — written in plain English and aligned with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Some counters — guest chat limits and free-tool daily use — are stored only in your own browser's local storage and never leave your device.
A note on chats: because messages are processed by OpenAI in the United States to generate replies, please don't share sensitive personal information in chat — passwords, banking details, or health information. Your stored account data stays in Canada.
We collect and use personal information with your consent, for the purposes described here. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account or emailing us — subject to records we must keep by law (for example, payment records held by our payment processor).
Passwords are stored securely hashed by our authentication provider. Account data is stored in Canada with access limited to operating the service. Payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant processor.
