Yes. As a guest you get 10 chat messages a day. A free account raises that to 50 a day, and every free tool can be used once a day at no cost. No card required.
Gems are credits you earn and spend inside Nova — for example, to unlock a full tool result or the Avatar AI (499 Gems). You earn them by signing up (50 free), coming back daily (+5), and inviting friends (+100 per friend). You can also buy them: 100 for $1.99, 600 for $7.99, or 1,200 for $14.99 CAD. Gems have no cash value.
Buddy Plus is the optional membership: $4.99 CAD/month or $39.99 CAD/year. It unlocks unlimited chat, all chat personalities, Avatar AI, Buddy memory (Nova remembers what you ask it to), and a 200-Gem monthly bonus. The first month is $1.99 with the launch offer shown at checkout.
Credits are applied automatically, usually within a minute or two of payment. First, check you're signed in with the same email/account you bought with, and refresh the page. Still nothing? Email support@novabuddyai.com with your receipt and we'll sort it the same day.
Every free account gets a referral code. When a friend signs up with it, you get 100 Gems and they get a bonus too. If your friend joins Buddy Plus, you get +500 Gems. Codes only work once per new person, and you can't redeem your own.
Anytime, no questions. Use the billing link in your Stripe receipt email, or email support@novabuddyai.com and we'll cancel it for you. Plus stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.

No. Nova is a general helper — its answers can be wrong, so double-check anything important and don't rely on it for medical, legal, or financial advice.
